Donation Pen Tribute to Frédéric Chopin Special Edition Ballpoint Pen

The Montblanc Donation Pen collection pays tribute to world-famous classical musicians from decades past. For every Montblanc Donation Pen writing instrument purchased, 20 euros (for fountain pens) or 10 euros (for ballpoint and rollerball pens) are donated to support carefully selected cultural projects. This year’s edition pays tribute to the famous Polish composer and pianist Frédéric Chopin. In a nod to his instrument of choice, the pen’s platinum-plated clip is shaped like a piano hammer. The cap ring is decorated with the notes of Chopin’s first nocturne, the “Nocturne in B-flat minor, Op. 9, No. 1,” which was published in 1832. The barrel and cap in black precious resin are complemented by platinum-plated appointments. The special gift box also contains a small notebook decorated with musical notes from his famous nocturne.
