Moonwatch Chronograph 44.25 mm "Dark Side Of The Moon" Apollo 8

Having participated in all six moon landings in human history, the legendary OMEGA Speedmaster is a true space icon that embodies the pioneering spirit of the Maison.

With its blackened, laser-engraved movement that evokes the surface of our natural satellite, this 44.25 mm model celebrates OMEGA’s lunar history. The visible side of the Moon is visible through the blackened, skeletonized dial, while the hidden side is revealed through the caseback.

Presented on a black leather strap with yellow rubber insert, the watch is crafted entirely from black ceramic. The yellow-varnished chronograph hands and the Super-LumiNova-coated tachymeter scale provide unique touches of color.

The specially decorated movement that powers the watch is the OMEGA Calibre 1869. The caseback is engraved with the words “APOLLO 8, DEC 1968”, “DARK SIDE OF THE MOON” and “WE'LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE”.
