Top Time B01 Shelby Cobra

The 1960s were a decade of experimentation, pleasure, freedom and energy. Whether it was cruising the roads on a motorcycle or in a sports car, living life at full speed was the order of the day. Willy Breitling sensed this change of pace and set out to create an unconventional chronograph that reflected the spirit of the times. He named it Top Time.
This spirited tradition continues today as Breitling partners with some of the biggest names in automotive design to create its Top Time models. In the early 1960s, Le Mans winner Carroll Shelby envisioned a car that combined a small, lightweight British chassis with a big, powerful, reliable American engine. When it was launched in 1962, the Cobra was an instant hit with both sports car enthusiasts and racers. To this day, it remains incredibly fast and coveted by collectors.
The Top Time B01 Shelby Cobra features the colors and emblem of the legendary car of the same name, as well as a perforated leather strap with a racing theme, a tachometer to measure speed and contrasting “squircle” subdials (half-round, half-square) that evoke the gauges of vintage dashboards. It also has a worthy engine under the hood: the exceptional Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01.
