Steel case, steel beaded crown decorated with a synthetic blue cabochon spinel, silvered satin-brushed sunray dial, Roman numerals, blued steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Navy blue alligator strap, steel pin buckle. Case size: 46.6 mm x 33.9 mm, thickness: 7.5 mm. Water-resistant to 3 bars (approximately 30 meters).
1904, Louis Cartier grants the wish of his friend, the famous Brazilian aviator Santos Dumont: to read the time in mid-flight. Thus was born one of the first wristwatches.
