Robust construction, high pressure resistance, easy legibility, and innovative technical features are the key characteristics of the Aquatimer diving watches that have defined IWC since 1967. These watches are used by both professional and recreational divers. Water-resistant to 30 bar, the Aquatimer Automatic diving watch features a 42-millimeter case made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The dive-related markings on the blue dial are coated with a luminescent material for optimal readability underwater. Inside the case, the IWC-manufactured Calibre 32111 is self-winding and offers a 120-hour power reserve. The innovative external and internal rotating bezel combines ease of use with safety. The rotation of the external bezel is transmitted to the internal bezel via a sliding clutch system. The SafeDive system ensures that the inner ring with the dive time markings always rotates counter-clockwise. This prevents the dive time from being extended even if the setting is accidentally adjusted, guaranteeing the diver's safety at all times. Thanks to the IWC quick-change system, the blue rubber strap can be easily replaced with another strap.
