Pilot's Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition "Lake Tahoe"

A discreet white with mysterious reflections: the “Lake Tahoe” ceramic color is inspired by the U.S. Navy’s “Service Dress White” uniform, but also by the contrasting winter landscape of snow-capped peaks surrounding the largest freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada. Elite pilots from the Top Gun flight school often fly over this mountainous landscape. White ceramic is emblematic of IWC’s global expertise in ceramics. The brand began working with this color as early as the 1980s. The striking white ceramic case of the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition “Lake Tahoe” is paired with a black dial and hands, as well as white printing and luminescence. The case back, bearing the Top Gun logo, is made of titanium, while the pushers and crown are stainless steel. Inside the 44-millimeter ceramic case beats the IWC-manufactured caliber 69380. Featuring a classic column-wheel design, the watch also displays the day and date at 3 o'clock. A soft-iron case protects the movement from magnetic fields. This Top Gun chronograph is fitted with a white rubber strap with a distinctive embossed pattern, the color of which has been perfectly matched to the "Lake Tahoe" case.
