Portugieser Chronograph

The Portugieser Chronograph is one of the most iconic models from IWC Schaffhausen. With its compact diameter of 41 millimetres, it fits almost any wrist. However, the slim bezel gives the impression of wearing a larger watch. The clear, functional dial features applied Arabic numerals and fine feuille hands. Printed with a quarter-second graduated field, the characteristic flange not only allows for precise reading of the measured time, but also recalls the origins of the Portugieser as a nautical precision instrument to be worn on the wrist. This model features an 18-carat red gold case, a slate dial and applied gold hands; all mounted on a black alligator leather strap. The IWC-manufactured calibre 69355 powers this elegant yet sporty chronograph. The robust and precise chronograph movement with its classic wheel construction is visible through a sapphire crystal case back.
