Portuguese Perpetual Calendar 42

Developed in the 1980s by Kurt Klaus, the IWC perpetual calendar automatically distinguishes between the variable lengths of the individual months and leap years and can be easily set via the crown. Today, for the first time, this complication is integrated into a movement from the IWC 82000 series. The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42 displays the date, month and day of the week in three counters at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock respectively. It also has a moon phase and leap year indicator. Thanks to its ceramic components, the Pellaton winding system of the IWC 82650 in-house calibre can store a power reserve of 60 hours. Featuring a 42 mm stainless steel case, the watch features a silver dial with gold-coloured hands and appliqués.
