When it was created in 1906, the “Rouge et Noir” fountain pen was considered a true technical feat due to its ease of use, which eliminated the need to dip the nib in an ink bottle. The Heritage Rouge et Noir collection celebrates 110 of Montblanc’s pioneering spirit. This contemporary reinterpretation of the legendary writing instrument, featuring a slimmer, more elongated silhouette and a barrel and cap in coral-coloured precious resin, is the result of craftsmanship perfected over generations. The retro snake-pattern clip is complemented by matching trim. It is made of a metal alloy formed by a stamping and winding process and aged using a unique galvanising and pickling technique.
