Luciano Pavarotti Limited Edition Fountain Pen 4810

At most of his performances, Pavarotti appeared in a black tuxedo over a white shirt and bow tie, which inspired the black and white lacquered Limited Edition 4810. The delicate floral motifs adorning the red lacquered cone and turquoise cabochon recall the colorful Hawaiian shirts favored by Pavarotti. The oriental influence of his music is reflected in a black and white lacquered dragon with red garnet eyes that adorns the cap. Fine engravings reminiscent of the rich ornaments of opera and a faceted garnet adorn the 18K gold cone. Another engraving, this time of a twisted nail, Pavarotti’s unusual good luck charm, adorns the 18K gold nib of both limited editions. Both also feature a gold-gilded clip reminiscent of Pavarotti’s extravagant scarves. The section is decorated with five engraved rings symbolizing the five balconies of the opera “Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti”.
