Rollerball Meisterstück x Olympic Heritage Chamonix 1924 Solitaire LeGrand

To celebrate the Meisterstück centenary in 2024, Montblanc pays tribute to the origins of the iconic writing instrument in a collection inspired by the spirit of the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games. As luck would have it, 1924 marked the launch of the writing instrument that would later become one of the Maison’s most sought-after masterpieces, as well as the hosting of the very first Winter Olympics, held in Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc. Both Montblanc and the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games are fundamentally about the pursuit of the greatest human feat possible, whether through master craftsmen or sporting heroes. The Solitaire Edition features a platinum-plated cap and a barrel engraved with the mountainous landscape of the Chamonix Valley. The Olympic rings are integrated into the Olympic Heritage logo engraved on the cap’s crown ring. A wreath of leaves, reminiscent of those presented to the winners of the ancient Olympic Games as the highest distinction, encircles the whole. The cap itself is engraved with the words “Olympic Games Chamonix 1924” in a frame inspired by the cover of the official report of the games. The ring of the anniversary cap bears the words “1924” and “2024”, symbolizing the importance of the two years.
