Montblanc 1858 automatic

The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by legendary professional watches produced by Minerva in the 1920s and 1930s for the military and exploration. Reinterpreting these historical models, Montblanc 1858 reflects the spirit of mountain exploration and is part of the current trend of a return to nature.

The Montblanc 1858 Automatic Chronograph watch features a fixed steel bezel, accented with glossy black ceramic and engraved with four luminescent cardinal points. Housed in a 40 mm stainless steel case with slender, curved lugs alternating between polished and satin-finished surfaces, the watch features a reproduction of Mont Blanc engraved on the case back, as well as a compass and two crossed ice picks, in homage to the Alpine world and the famous mountain that inspired the Maison’s founders. For improved readability, the black dial contrasts with the historic cathedral hands and luminescent beige Arabic numerals in an elegant design. The timepiece is presented on a black calfskin strap with beige stitching.
