Portugieser Automatic 40

An open, well-arranged dial with its traditional minute scale and small seconds counter at 6 o'clock: the IWC reference 325 set the standard for Portugieser design at the end of the 1930s, which would continue throughout the history of the collection. Today, this timelessly modern design returns in a new automatic model with a compact 40 mm case diameter. The Portugieser Automatic 40 is powered by the IWC-manufactured calibre 82200. This high-quality, robust automatic movement features a Pellaton winding system made of virtually wear-resistant ceramic components, giving it a power reserve of 60 hours. This model has a stainless steel case with a silver dial featuring gold-coloured hands and appliqués. It is fitted with a black alligator strap, which is particularly comfortable thanks to its brand new butterfly buckle.
