The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon combines two sophisticated Haute Horlogerie complications. The tourbillon, made up of 82 different components, weighs just 0.635 grams. It allows the balance wheel to rotate around its axis and compensates for the effects of gravity on the oscillation system, thus ensuring increased precision. Automatically distinguishing between the variable lengths of the individual months and leap years, the perpetual calendar will not require any manual intervention until 2100. The moon phase display is so precise that its deviation from the actual lunar trajectory is only one day every 577.5 years. The self-winding IWC-manufactured calibre 51950 guarantees a power reserve of 7 days. The case is made of platinum. The silver dial and the rhodium-plated hands and appliques perfectly complement this rare and precious metal. Produced in a limited edition of 50 pieces, this watch comes on a blue alligator strap made by the Italian shoemaker Santoni.
