It is powered by the MB 24.17 automatic movement, which displays the hours, minutes, seconds, and date. In terms of design, the timepiece draws inspiration from late 19th and early 20th-century Minerva pocket watches, with their round, polished, pebble-shaped cases and onion-shaped crowns.
